Apollo 14 flown to the Moon plastic wrapping
About 1'' triangle Apollo 14 wrapping material swatch mounted on an 8x10 presentation certified on the backside.
Apollo 14 successfully completed the third crewed landing on the lunar surface. Astronauts Alan Shepard and Ed Mitchell landed less than 30 meters from the target point near "Cone Crater" in the "Fra Mauro" region and spent more than 30 hours on the Moon with EVAs for more than 9 hours. Shepard and Mitchell also collected rock samples.
The clear plastic wrapping comes from a larger sleeve used to pack beta cloth patches for the flight, kept by Edgar Mitchell and later sold by him. Original plastic wrapping is also certified by Mitchell.
This is edition is limited to 50 presentations only.
