Apollo 11 was the first manned lunar landing in history. On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first human being to walk on the Moon. Armstrong and Lunar Module Pilot (LMP) Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin spent more than 21 hours on the moon, setting up experiments, taking photos, and gathering samples.
This presentation bears original vintage Kapton foil material from the "CM" Columbia.
